I spent a little bit more than two months at the Ramghat monastery. My main responsibility was to teach the younger monks English which was a great experience and really fun to do. What IÂ’ll remember the most from this journey are the things we did, not only in the classroom, but outside of it as well. We played a lot of football, I was invited to different community houses, we bought fish and released them back into a lake which is a part of Buddhist culture, and so many more things. It was very fun and interesting to see life from another point of view and to experience such a different and from my experience, unique culture. I want to thank Bhuwansing and Chandre for making this possible and a big thanks to Harka Ghale, Lopen Phurba Tenzin and Naren for making my time here so enjoyable. I would highly recommend volunteering at this place to anyone and everyone
