Shakyamuni Buddha
The Buddha religion was introduced by Shakyamuni Buddha in the world2500 years ago. He had seen people with many pains, griefs and sorrows even though he was from Royal family having all comforts he gave up and scarified all his luxurious living to find the true meaning of life. After six year of difficult meditation even then he was unable to find wisdom then he gave up his meditaion and went and sat down under Bodhi tree where he gained wisdom and knowledge. After this he spent the remaining days of his life teaching and practicing the truth of his experience. By this example, we are benefitted in many ways how we should live in a good way.
Chenresig
In sanskrit it is called “Awaloketeshor” and in Tibetan language it is called “Chenresig”. She looks at the whole creation with lots of affection and love. She has thought her followers in difficult time to say the mantra “Om mani padme om” and they will be relieved of their problems in life. She has no differences in caste or religion, rich or poor, male or female she gave equal right to everyone and helps them in many ways. In the himalaya region people have strong faith and believe in her teaching.
Guru Padma Sambhaw
In the 8th century Guru Padma Sambhaw left Pharping village which is in the south from the Kathmandu valley and went to Tibet. Even though he went to Tibet, the people there who were following a so-called (Bon) region opposed his teaching and put a ban on his teaching. Then one whose name is Guru Padma Sambhaw from India came and settled the dispute between Buddha and Bon. Therefore, the people of Himalaya region called him second Buddha.
